Congratulations to Stephanie Cummings for being selected by the Waterbury Regional Chamber as Legislator of the Year, and was the first member of the House to receive the award. Criteria that was used to select Stephanie as the Legislator of the year  included reviewing how legislators voted on bills that were important to member businesses, how legislators worked to support communities and improve the state’s business climate and what bills the candidate sponsored or co-sponsored during the legislative session. Stephanie is one of the most active legislators in the community, sponsoring several public education seminars and charitable effects, as well as conducting forums to enable constituents the opportunity to be heard.
