Overview

Judge Agati is a private mediator and arbitrator. He is currently taking on mediation and arbitration matters beginning in September 2022. He will be conducting in-person mediations and arbitrations at the firm’s New Haven, Waterbury, and Stamford offices, as well as remote mediations and arbitrations.

Judge Agati was confirmed by the Connecticut General Assembly as a Judge of the Superior Court in Connecticut in November 2000. During his career on the Bench, Judge Agati was assigned primarily to the Civil and Complex litigation dockets. He also served as the Administrative Judge and Presiding Judge for Civil in Waterbury. Prior to serving on the bench, Judge Agati was a partner in the firm of Rinaldi, Zipoli, Bruno, and Agati.

Having served on the Connecticut Superior Court for 22 years, Judge Agati is a member of the firm’s Litigation practice and a key member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution group.

Judge Agati has tried and mediated an extensive number of civil matters including:
