Burpee & Carmody formed by Lucian Burpee and Terence F. Carmody (pictured) with offices at 36 North Main Street, Waterbury.
1940
Carmody Larkin & Torrance
The firm became Carmody Larkin & Torrance and was based in the Lilley Building on West Main Street, Waterbury.
1952
Carmody & Torrance
Carmody & Torrance was formed.
1972
Fitzgerald & Fitzgerald
The firm added litigation strength when it absorbed another Waterbury family firm.

New Home, Waterbury
Relocated to firm’s current offices at 50 Leavenworth Street, the former First Federal Savings Bank.
1984
New Office, New Haven
Opened office in New Haven at 59 Elm Street, later moving to 195 Church Street where the firm resides today.

Merger with Stamford firm Sandak, Hennessey & Greco.
