Maggie advises clients with regard to estate planning and estate administration matters, including the creation of wills and trusts, the probate process, and gift and estate taxes. Maggie has experience drafting complex estate plans and guiding clients through the relevant family and tax considerations.
Maggie also has experience setting up non-profit organizations and assisting them with compliance matters at state and federal levels. She works with non-profit board members to obtain tax exemption status for their organizations, and aids them in drafting and updating their governing documents and policies to align with their tax-exempt missions.
In addition, Maggie assists municipal clients with regard to contracts funded by the American Rescue Plan Act (âARPAâ), including providing guidance concerning the compliance and reporting requirements thereunder.
